Dr. Nina Prill is a native of the Washington D.C. area, having grown up in Chevy Chase, Maryland. Dr. Prill performed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester, and then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. Dr. Prill has more than 25 years of experience in private practice, focusing on general medicine, soft tissue surgery, and exotics. Dr. Prill also holds her designation as a Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner from the University of Tennessee.
Currently, Dr. Prill and her husband, Adam, live in Bethesda, Maryland, with their children, Jack, Alyssa, and Isabella. Their family is completed by their black lab, Rosie; Aussie rescue mix, Rico; Tiger the cat; and Juan the gecko. Dr. Prill’s personal interests include riding horses with her longtime trainer in New Market, hiking with her dogs along the C&O canal, swimming, yoga, cooking, and Bruce Springsteen concerts.
Dr. Prill’s primary area of focus at VOSM is canine rehabilitation therapy and sports medicine.
